Mmmm avocado!!! I love how it makes a creamy and indulgent mousse that doesn’t even taste like avocado- for those sceptics out there- try it, I promise you, you will be hooked!
Avocado is packed full of good fats, has been found to improve cholesterol levels and has even been found to kill breast cancer cells in some trials.
Recipe
1 ripe Avocado
2 tsp Cocoa powder (raw if possible)
3 tsp Maple Syrup or honey
2 tsp Chopped dates or crystallized ginger- optional
Blend or mash avocado in a small bowl until smooth, add cocoa and syrup and mix well,
Stir in extras if using and spoon mixture into two shot glasses and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Serve topped with toasted coconut and berries.
